My name is Sunanda John. I was born in Delhi, India and came to New Zealand in 2004. I lived in Auckland for approximately 14 years and in 2017, me and my husband moved to South Island to be closer to our children, who are living in Dunedin.
I am a social worker and a practicing counsellor with experience in working with loss and grief. I can communicate in English and Hindi. I work with clients of diverse backgrounds, specifically with adolescents and adults. I am drawn to this area of work as I want to support people who are going through a difficult time in their life so that they feel supported to process their thoughts and feelings in a safe environment.
