Dhenny is a Counsellor (NZAC) and a Registered Comprehensive Nurse. He works with survivors of sexual trauma and specialises in helping them in manage their mental health and well-being difficulties and navigate behaviour change, and support those facing adjustment issues, stress, mood and anxiety difficulties.
His therapeutic approach uses evidence-based modalities like Cognitive Behaviour Theray (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectic Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interview (MI), and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), focusing on individual strengths and the capacity for change.
