Lianne Atkinson

Lianne is a Registered Clinical Psychologist who is available to provide services to ACC Sensitive Claims clients in Dunedin (and elsewhere in New Zealand, depending on availability). She has experience in various domains of psychology, including adult mental health (e.g., mood disorders, anxiety, trauma-related disorders, and other psychological difficulties) and adult offence-related behaviour.

In her practice, Lianne uses aspects of several different therapeutic modalities; in particular, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). All of these therapies are delivered using a trauma-informed approach. Lianne is passionate about helping clients to learn the skills necessary to manage psychological distress so that they can make meaningful change in their lives.

Lianne welcomes referrals for ACC Specialist Cover Assessments and Function Assessments.
