Katrina is a registered clinical psychologist who trained at the University of Otago and has been practising for twenty years. She has worked extensively in mental health settings with adults and children who struggle with a variety of conditions including PTSD, mood and anxiety disorders, OCD, ADHD, Autism, eating disorders, and psychosis. In the last ten years, she has been engaged in sensitive claims therapy and provides specialist assessments as well as offering adjunct therapy. Katrina utilises a range of therapeutic approaches which are guided by an individual formulation. She has experience with a range of modalities including EMDR, ACT, CBT, DBT, parts work, Schema therapy and mindfulness-based interventions. Katrina is a full member of the NZ College of Clinical Psychologists and a member of EMDR NZ.

Equine Therapy

Equine therapy has been used to treat anxiety, ADHD, eating disorders, addiction, depression, PTSD and many other mental health conditions, and, in addition to targeting symptoms of those disorders, is theorized to help people build confidence, self-awareness, and empathy.
