Karina Vaccarezza

I was born in Uruguay and have been living in New Zealand since 2018, where I continue to expand my professional knowledge and practice.

I completed my studies in Clinical Psychology at the Catholic University of Uruguay and have strong training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Systemic Therapy, and Logotherapy.

I am a Full Member of NZAC and an ACC-registered Counsellor. I am also accredited with Te Whatu Ora.

I have two years of experience in Uruguay working with adults and children as a Psychologist.

In New Zealand, I have worked as a Family Therapist and Counsellor, supporting families, adults, and children across a range of organizations.

I have completed further training in Trauma-Focused CBT, Couple Therapy (Gottman Institute), and Domestic Violence.

I am currently undertaking postgraduate training at Massey University to further develop my clinical skills.

I specialize in supporting individuals who have experienced sexual trauma.

I have a private office in Wanaka, where I offer a safe, calm, and confidential space for therapeutic support.

I offer sessions in both English and Spanish.
