Chris holds an Master of Counselling from University of Canterbury, has a background in reintegration work and has served in the New Zealand Defence Force.
He has extensive experience working within the prison system and uses Solution Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and broad Self-Compassion based approaches to trauma
Chris supports people in prison and those transitioning back into the community, guiding them through periods of change while focusing on practical reintegration, personal growth, and long-term wellbeing.

Through the ACC Sensitive Claims Service we offer fully funded support, treatment and assessment services for survivors of sexual abuse or assault. Our Named Service Providers are skilled, experienced, and qualified professionals.
Equine Therapy
Equine therapy has been used to treat anxiety, ADHD, eating disorders, addiction, depression, PTSD and many other mental health conditions, and, in addition to targeting symptoms of those disorders, is theorized to help people build confidence, self-awareness, and empathy.
