Jessica is a Registered Social Worker with the SWRB also a member of ANZASW. She is an experienced and dedicated Social Worker with a Bachelor degree in Social and Community Work and a Post Grad (Distinction) in Social Welfare. Jessica also has gained qualifications in Professional Supervision and Clinical Advisor roles for upcoming contractual change.
Jessica appreciates working alongside people in their change journey, and welcomes referrals from all demographics embracing diversity.
Jessica has experience working from a Kaupapa Maori lens and has worked in the fields of grief, mental health, crisis intervention, addictions and whanau centred practice.
Jessica is based in Invercargill and is an accredited provider of ACC Sensitive Claims as a counsellor and social worker. Session times can be flexible and telehealth is an option if needed.

Jessica has grown a strong base of Supervisee's and enjoys the educational aspects of her Clinical Supervision practice.
Jessica has recently taken on a role of Clinical Advisor for South Coast Psychology and is loving the challenge, the change in scope for professional development and the increased knowledge base that supports Providers and Clients through the SCS process.
Jessica works from a strengths based model and believes that finding the right therapist is key to a healthy and successful therapeutic relationship.

Jessica is a born and bred Southlander with a passion for cheese rolls, chilly Southern winter frosts, has an interest in societal sociology, and feels that working with people to give them tools, ideas and motivation to be the best version of themselves is an absolute privilege.

Through the ACC Sensitive Claims Service we offer fully funded support, treatment and assessment services for survivors of sexual abuse or assault. Our Named Service Providers are skilled, experienced, and qualified professionals.

Clinical Supervision

Supervision is a special type of professional support that develops and enhances the practice of professionals, which keeps them and their clients ethically safe and upskilled. All our providers are committed to receiving clinical supervision on an ongoing basis.

Equine Therapy

Equine therapy has been used to treat anxiety, ADHD, eating disorders, addiction, depression, PTSD and many other mental health conditions, and, in addition to targeting symptoms of those disorders, is theorized to help people build confidence, self-awareness, and empathy.

Private Therapy Services

At South Coast Psychology, our providers offer evidence-based, culturally grounded and compassionate care to support you at your own pace. Private sessions provide flexible, timely support without the requirements of external funding or referrals.
