Emily McDonald

Emily has worked in government agencies, but more recently, in the NGO sector for eight years working with youth, young parents, families and children.

She worked as a Practice Leader and supervisor in a high-risk residential setting with clients experiencing mental health, substance abuse, violence and sexual abuse, intellectual disabilities, ex-prisoners.

Emily works from a strengths-based approach that is client led and solution focused. She is a Registered Social Worker with SWRBNZ and ACC accredited counselor.
